Tennessee weather is hard on garage doors
Middle Tennessee swings from humid 90-degree summers to freezing winter mornings. Cold makes steel springs brittle — the first hard freeze is when we get the most broken-spring calls in Forest Hills. Summer humidity dries out rollers and hinges and swells wood doors, while spring storms can knock a door off track. A yearly tune-up catches most of these problems before they leave you stuck.
